Hallin Fell - Lake District Walk
Tuesday 4th April 2017
Today's walk was combined with a trip on the Ullswater Steamer. After yesterdays longer than planned walk the gentle ascent of Hallin Fell was ideal, especially as out of the breeze it was warm enough to just sit and soak in the views from the summit.

Distance: 2.25 miles Ascent: 244 metres Time Taken: 2 hrs 25 mins
Terrain: Steep but easy going on wide grassy paths.
Weather: Sunny and warm

There are many different routes onto the summit of Hallin Fell, all of them follow broad grassy tracks.

Rather than take the road we follow the path around the edge of the fell to the pier.
